Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use for essential functionality, analytics, and advertising, and how consent works by region.
1. What We Use
We use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage) for essential functionality, preference storage, security, optional analytics, and Google AdSense advertising.
2. Technologies and Purposes
The table below describes the main cookies and similar technologies we use. Storage names may vary where a provider controls the exact cookie or storage key.
Main cookies and similar technologies| Technology | Category | Purpose and duration |
|---|
| `tsumo_cookie_consent` local storage | Essential preference | Stores your consent choice, timestamp, and cookie policy version until you change it, clear browser storage, or the policy version changes. |
| Supabase auth session storage | Essential | Keeps you signed in, refreshes sessions, and protects account access for the life of the session or account login state. |
| Language, theme, gameplay, and UI preferences | Preference | Remembers settings you choose, such as interface preferences or gameplay display options, until you change or clear them. |
| Session landing path and activation-source session storage | Essential or preference | Supports routing, signup flow context, and same-session measurement. Session storage normally clears when the browser session ends. |
| Google Tag Manager analytics | Optional analytics | Loads only after Accept Optional Analytics. It is configured for analytics storage only; ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain disabled. |
| Google AdSense advertising | Advertising | Supports ad serving, measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and ad personalization where permitted. Google-controlled records last according to Google advertising and privacy settings. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile and security checks | Essential security | Helps protect authentication and abuse-sensitive forms. Provider-controlled records last according to the security provider's operation. |
3. Consent Choices
The cookie settings on this page control optional site analytics. We use non-essential analytics only when you choose "Accept Optional Analytics." If you choose "Use Necessary Only" or "Reject Optional Analytics," optional analytics remain disabled.
Google AdSense advertising consent, where legally required, is handled through Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified consent management platform configured in AdSense.
4. Regional Rules (US, EU, UK)
In jurisdictions that require prior consent for non-essential storage/access (for example EU/UK ePrivacy rules), optional analytics remain off until consent is provided. Google requires AdSense publishers serving ads to users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.
5. Browser Controls
You can manage cookies through browser settings, including deleting existing cookies or blocking future storage. Blocking essential technologies may affect login and gameplay functions. You can also change or withdraw optional analytics consent through Cookie settings on this page and manage advertising choices through Google ad settings or the consent controls shown by Google Privacy & messaging where available.
6. Relationship to Privacy Rights
For broader information about personal information, privacy rights, and request workflows, review our Privacy Policy and Data Privacy and Rights page.
